I recently collaborated with a client to redesign a custom necklace using her favorite charms. She felt the original layout lacked cohesion, so we reimagined the piece by clustering the charms together to create a more unified and personal aesthetic.
She asked that the charms be together rather than spread out. I suggested a layered cascading design. This approach utilizes chains of varying lengths to ensure each unique charm has its own space to shine, creating a cohesive, waterfall effect that avoids the previous cluttered appearance.
We moved forward with the layered cascading design, and the final necklace looks gorgeous. It was so rewarding to take her beloved charms and unify them into this stunning, personalized statement piece that perfectly captures her style.
